The valet is the same, sometimes there is one, sometimes you wait ten minutes, sometimes none at all. Later, wait ten minutes to ask a question. They have only 1 or 2 front-end staff, BUT they also answer the phones! So they are Never available. and a Thank you to the manager who did move us on the second day. The only nice thing were the sheets and bedding. Only found all these charges on our bill when they emailed it to us and we had already flown home. We were charged for parking and were never notified. We not only got their bottom of the barrel room, they charged us for all breakfasts even though we double checked at the reception twice and with the servers at breakfast. She and I picked an upgrade room with breakfast. We spoke at length to find out what the organizers arranged for us and what we can upgrade. We were part of a large group celebrating a 45 year dental class reunion. When I originally booked with Bonne Entente Reception, I had asked for a better room including breakfast. Newer but poorly planned and cheap upgrades and workmanship. Complaint to a manager who came the next day to try to fix the lighting, worked better. Complaint to front desk was met with a blank stare and a shrug. That one couch was dark and felt dirty with sloppy stuffing. Badly peeling wood veneer surface on both night tables, large mark of the shadow left on wall over the couch after bed was moved, bathroom tub old and hard to plug, lighting system complex and old, grey sad curtains. Our first room should never be rented to anyone in the condition it was in.
